Job summary

HomeServe Membership Ltd is seeking a Gas Repair Engineer to diagnose and repair gas appliances and heating systems in customers' homes. You will handle faults, perform boiler services, and ensure safety checks are completed in line with regulations.

The role requires gas qualifications, a full UK driving license, and strong customer service skills. You will work autonomously with a proactive mindset in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, CKR1) required.
• Experience repairing gas appliances and central heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and on-site problem solving.
• Positive, proactive approach and team-friendly culture.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults on boilers and central heating systems.
• Carry out repairs to restore heating and hot water.
• Carry out boiler services.
• Complete safety checks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Represent HomeServe professionally in customers' homes.
