  • Driving licence with less than 6 penalty points is required.

About The Role

HomeServe are now recruiting for directly employed

Gas Engineers

to join our team!

Location

Sutton or within a 20 minute drive of a SM postcode

Full Time

You will average 40 hours per week over the year working annualised hours (Less in Summer more in Winter), but your pay will not change! This also includes some weekends and Bank Holiday working.

Salary

£51,400 (includes location allowance) + £3,000 signing on bonus!

As a Gas Repair Engineer at HomeServe you will undertake the maintenance and repair work of gas appliances and central heating systems in private domestic properties. You will provide industry leading service aligned with our customer and people promises, to help us enhance our reputation and drive customer growth.

About The Candidate

What you'll have:

  1. CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1
  2. Full UK Driving Licence with less than 6 penalty points
  3. Excellent customer service skills
  4. It would also be great if you had experience with working on a variety of different boilers across varied manufacturers

Training & Support

To help you settle in to your career with HomeServe, you will undertake our extensive training programme:

  1. Week 1 will be Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 at our Head Office in Walsall, covering all things HomeServe, Health and Safety, tools and equipment
  2. Week 2-4 you will be buddied up with an experienced HomeServe Gas Engineer
  3. Once signed off you will complete your own line of work in your specified work area
  4. Where geographically appropriate we will pay for your accommodation
