Job summary

Ganymede Energy is recruiting an experienced Gas Repair Engineer to join their team across the UK. You will visit customers in their homes to diagnose faults with central heating systems and perform boiler repairs, aiming for first-time fixes where possible.

The role requires strong fault-finding, knowledge of basic electrical systems, and the ability to work independently with support from field coaches and a dedicated training centre. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience diagnosing and repairing domestic boiler breakdowns.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• A good understanding of basic electrical systems.
• Confidence using a multi-meter to diagnose faults.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Good customer service skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers.
• A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good attention to detail.
• A genuine “can do” attitude and willingness to keep learning.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in their homes to diagnose faults with central heating systems and carry out boiler repairs.
• Utilise fault-finding techniques to identify root causes and achieve first-time fixes where possible.
• Diagnose faults with basic electrical systems and use a multi-meter.
• Work independently with support from a team and ongoing coaching and training.
