Job summary

Ganymede Energy is recruiting an experienced Gas Repair Engineer to diagnose faults and repair domestic boilers in customers’ homes across the UK. You’ll use fault-finding skills and multi-meter measurements to deliver first-time fixes where possible.

With a strong training centre and field coaches, you’ll work on a 40-hour week (annualised hours) with a guaranteed first-year bonus of £1,500 and a comprehensive benefits package, including pension and sick pay.

Qualifications

• CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1 required.
• Strong experience diagnosing and repairing domestic boiler breakdowns.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• A good understanding of basic electrical systems.
• Confidence using a multimeter to diagnose faults.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach.
• Practical, proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in their homes to diagnose faults with central heating systems and carry out boiler repairs.
• Identify cause of faults and aim for safe, effective first-time fixes where possible.
• Work independently with support from an experienced team and coaching.
