Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Gas Quality and Compliance Officer for a 3-month contract in Barking. The role focuses on statutory gas safety compliance, data and contracts management for M&E and building systems, and collaboration with suppliers to ensure service delivery.

The candidate should have NVQ Level 3 C&G or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating, strong knowledge of gas safety, and experience in managing certificates and compliance processes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 C&G or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating.
• Gas safety systems knowledge and certification.
• Experience managing gas certificates and pass/fail processes.
• Experience in compliance data management and building compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure statutory duties are met within the compliance framework.
• Manage data, contracts, contractors, compliance, and management systems for M&E and building compliance.
• Specialize in gas systems and equipment; maintain gas safety qualifications and certifications.
• Support the Compliance Manager in ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers to deliver services for building compliance.
• Act as part of the health and safety building compliance function.
• Engage stakeholders to understand business needs and provide support.
• Assist with periodic reviews or audits to ensure procedures are followed.
• Produce content for management reports on compliance operations.
• Ensure record management including inspections and audits.
