Gas & Power Business Analyst - Energy Trading | Power SME | 6 Months Rolling | Outside IR35 | Hybrid | £800/day

This role is for a Gas & Power Business Analyst with expertise in Energy Trading. It offers a long-term contract opportunity within the sector, requiring a deep understanding of market dynamics, data from exchanges like EPEX SPOT, EEX Futures, or Nord Pool, and experience with ETRM systems.

The successful candidate will be involved in onboarding exchange-based products, modeling in ETRM, and supporting digital transformation initiatives, including the upcoming Power ETRM implementation. Key responsibilities include working on new trade volume functionalities, guiding clients through market shifts, and collaborating with offshore teams.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Physicals or Derivatives Energy Trading domain.
2. Strong background in Energy Trading, especially Gas & Power markets.
3. Experience with ETRM systems, including product onboarding, trade capture, and valuations.
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
5. Ability to work with offshore teams and produce comprehensive documentation.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in London)
