We are currently looking for a Gas Planner to join our team in Slough.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and allocate gas servicing, repairs, and installation works to engineers in line with priorities and compliance deadlines (e.g., annual LGSR requirements).
  • Monitor engineers’ diaries, optimising routes and workloads to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
  • Liaise with tenants to arrange convenient appointment times, ensuring excellent resident care and communication.
  • Track and report on progress of gas servicing programmes, ensuring 100% compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond promptly to emergency jobs and reallocate resources when urgent priorities arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed, cancelled, and outstanding jobs using housing/repairs management systems.
  • Work closely with the Compliance, Repairs, and Customer Service teams to resolve access issues and escalate non-compliance risks.
  • Provide performance data and reports to managers, highlighting risks to programme delivery.
  • Ensure all planning activity complies with health and safety, regulatory, and company policies.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, or coordination role (ideally within housing, maintenance, or gas services).
  • Knowledge of social housing repairs.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience using housing management, repairs, or scheduling software.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with tenants, engineers, and managers effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to service delivery.
