A well-established housing provider seeks an experienced Gas Operations Supervisor to oversee the gas service across its property portfolio and ensure high safety and compliance standards.
You will supervise Gas Engineers, conduct on-site assessments, monitor performance, manage customer feedback and deputise for senior management as required.
A well-established housing provider is looking to appoint an experienced Gas Operations Supervisor to support the delivery of a high-quality gas maintenance service across its property portfolio. As Gas Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance across the gas service, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with relevant legislation and internal procedures. You will support and monitor a team of Gas Engineers, carry out on-site technical assessments, review performance against targets and take action where needed to maintain service standards.
You will also be involved in managing customer feedback and complaints, supporting cost management and budget reconciliation, ensuring sufficient out-of-hours cover is in place and deputising for senior management when required.
You will need strong experience within gas operations, ideally within social housing, domestic maintenance or a similar property services environment. You should have a good understanding of Gas Safe legislation, health and safety requirements and compliance standards, alongside experience supervising or supporting trade teams.
The successful candidate will be confident carrying out technical assessments, monitoring performance, managing customer issues and working closely with engineers and wider operational teams. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential.
You must be a current holder of ACS, minimum requirements being CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, CKR1. City & Guilds Level 3 certificate in Domestic Heating. Certificate in Unvented Hot Water Storage System.
