Job description

Are you a skilled Gas Oil LPG Service Engineer based near Havebury, Bury St Edmunds? Are you expereinced with working on both Gas and Oil Boilers? Including servicing and repairs?

Your Role:

  • Undertake the servicing, repairing & maintenance of Domestic heating systems
  • Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations
  • Completion of all relevant paperwork
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and safety
  • Participate in out of hour's works, including overtime and call out
  • Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures
  • Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards
  • Undertake all other maintenance works within remit
  • Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers

What We Need From You.

  • Minimum three years operational expereince
  • ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
  • G3 unvented cylinder qualificatiions (desireable)
  • Air Source Trainining (beneficial but not essential)
  • A full UK driving license
  • Ability to undertake out of hours works, incluidng overtime and call out
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience working with the public
  • A solid understanding of gas legislation and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and working to best standards
  • Ability to manage your time and workload independently
  • Recognised formal qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) (desirable)
  • Additional qualifications (LPG) are desirable
