Job summary

Stark Connect in the UK is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead safe, compliant delivery of gas metering installations and exchanges, focusing on systems above 2 bar. You will own projects from design to handover and coordinate engineers, contractors and suppliers to deliver on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Technical Manager - Gas Metering, you will apply instrumentation expertise, manage risk, and mentor staff while ensuring quality, safety and customer satisfaction across the

Qualifications

• Accreditation with IGEM or IET and metering accreditations.
• Understanding of PSSR, IGEM and IET standards.
• Practical experience installing, commissioning and maintaining gas instrumentation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, loop diagrams and equipment specs.
• Knowledge of hazardous-area requirements and Ex certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage gas meter installation and exchange projects, controlling budgets, programmes, quality and customer expectations.
• Review and approve designs, integrating electrical instrumentation and telemetry interfaces.
• Provide technical leadership for metering systems above 2 bar.
• Prepare cost plans and competitive quotations for future orders.
• Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors to ensure resource availability.
• Ensure compliance with standards and Stark procedures; assist with risk assessments and lifting plans.
• Coordinate commissioning, inspection, calibration, maintenance and handover documentation.
