Job summary

A leading installation company is seeking experienced Gas Installation Engineers for a contract role in social housing. You will be responsible for installing gas systems and managing your workload using a PDA. Applicants must have Gas Safe Registration, ACS qualifications, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in boiler installation. The role requires your own van and tools and strong customer skills. This position offers a flexible workload with 3-5 jobs a week.

Overview

We are currently recruiting Gas installation engineers to take on an installation contract on behalf of a market leading company. All works will be in the social housing sector and all jobs will be sent via a PDA. The successful Gas Installation Engineer will receive 3-5 jobs a week, all based in your chosen working location.

Responsibilities

Install gas systems for social housing properties as part of a contracted service and repair role. All work will be allocated via PDA.

Essential Requirements

• Own Gas Safe Registration
• ACS Qualifications
• Own van and tools
• Criminal background check
• Domestic experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience installing boilers
• Strong customer skills
• Electrician supplied to wire up (note: this indicates collaboration for wiring tasks)

Desirable Experience

• Experience managing own workload
• Qualified installer of vented and unvented cylinders
• Ability to work confidently in high-end properties
• Experience with power-flushing heating systems
