Job summary

Centrica plc is seeking a Gas Installation Engineer to work from Croydon/ Southern London on domestic social housing projects. You will install, swap and convert boilers with a fully costed van, fuel card and modern tech. Expect a strong pay package, annual reviews and a supportive benefits scheme.

The role focuses on safety, customer service and adherence to British Gas standards while delivering high-quality heating solutions across partners’ properties.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Minimum 2 years qualified experience.
• ACS qualification including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1.
• Demonstrate knowledge of PH Jones and British Gas safety standards and customer service.

Responsibilities

• You will join a heating installation team, carrying out combi swaps and conversions in domestic social housing properties.

Right to Work in the UK

2 years minimum qualified experience

Gas Engineer – Gas Installation Engineer

Location: Must be based in Croydon or Southern London

Work Schedule: You will work across all areas, concentrating on one key area each day

You will receive a fully costed van and fuel card to support your daily operations

Your role

What we need from you

• Hold a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold 2 year’s minimum qualified experience
• Be ACS qualified, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, & CKR1
• Exhibit knowledge of all procedures and safety measures to PH Jones and British Gas standards whilst offering excellent customer service
