Qualifications

Job description

Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Gas Installation Engineer to join our team on the Swindon contract. You will be working on social housing, on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive basic salary plus on target earnings, totalling a realistic £50,000 per annum, plus Company Van, Fuel Card and Excellent Benefits!

Responsibilities of the Gas Installation Engineer will include:

  • Installation of Domestic heating boilers, combi swaps/Conversions
  • Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations
  • Completion of all relevant paperwork
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and safety
  • Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures
  • Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards
  • Undertake all other maintenance works within remit
  • Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers

What are we looking for in our ideal Gas Installation Engineer:

  • Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
  • ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
  • LPG, UNVENTED Oil, solar and renewable/ASHP qualifications are desirable but not essential further training provided
  • Understanding of gas legislation
  • Full driving license
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
