Effective Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Gas & Heating Engineer to join an established Northern Ireland company based in Belfast, covering Derry and surrounding areas. The role involves reactive boiler maintenance, fault-finding, servicing, and completing all paperwork on a tablet.

You should hold NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating, Gas Safe and/or OFTEC qualifications, a full UK driving license, and be able to work independently.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating is essential.
• Current Gas Safe and/or OFTEC qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and fault-finding boilers.
• Ability to work independently across Derry and surrounding NI.
• A valid AccessNI Basic Disclosure Certificate is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive gas boiler maintenance and repairs.
• Fault-finding and diagnosing boiler issues.
• Carry out planned boiler servicing.
• Complete paperwork using a company-supplied tablet.
• Deliver a professional service to customers and clients.
• Work across Derry and surrounding NI area.
• Maintain safety and meet contractual deadlines.
