Overview

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Gas Flush Supervisor to join our Despatch team at our busy Preston site in Hull. The successful candidate will become an integral part of our team, responsible for the smooth running of the Despatch operation by implementing and supervising the collection and Despatch of products according to the sales order process schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the Despatch Operatives and Chargehands ensuring correct scanning and assignment of product from boxing into stock locations and correct paperwork into Despatch
  • Ensure all Retail requirements are picked and presented in a timely manner
  • Manage order collection and palletising, including stock rotation, maintain shelf requirements and ensure the correct locations are used
  • Take receipt of bought-in chilled products and packaging and ingredients and manage the correct re-labelling of these lines
  • Liaise with office staff regarding loading and booking times
  • Able to talk clearly and concisely about working standards in own area
  • Manage invoicing of orders and correct distribution of paperwork
  • Manage booking in of all purchased goods and returned stock to site
  • Experience leading a team (essential)
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office) ideally with knowledge of FOPS and Nav systems
  • Ability to interact with high profile customers
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related)
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 06:30-15:00 (40 hours average per week)
