Train to be a First Call Operative Engineer

Are you a Gas Engineer with CCN1, looking for a rewarding contract and a new training opportunity? Ganymede have partnered with Cadent Gas Network to provide Emergency Response Gas Escape Engineers, dealing with in-day gas escapes.

About the role:

You will be ensuring that the customer's gas supply is restored in an efficient manner, dealing with internal and external gas escapes as reported by the public, dealing with pressure problems, pipe work reruns, surveys, and re-connections to the gas supply after disconnection whilst always ensuring minimal disruption to the customer.

Package:
  • Basic salary: £41,500
  • Fully funded 1 ½ day course sitting your CODNESP1 qualification
  • Full FCO training with Cadent Gas plus mentoring in your region
  • £2,000 lump sum bonus
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
  • High quality tools, a fully racked vehicle, uniform, fuel card & training
About you:

You must have experience working within the gas industry, including good knowledge of gas appliances, testing, purging and the commissioning of pipework, Installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters and an understanding of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice and Health and Safety.

We're looking for excellent communication skills, the ability to keep calm under pressure, a full UK driving licence and excellent pipework skills.
