Gas Engineer Domestic Service and Breakdown


Typical earnings: 50 to 80k achieved Mon-Fri. No callout or weekends required. Includes Van, PAYE benefits.


Location: Hiring for Bristol, Cheltenham, Swindon, or Oxford depending on your location.


Job Description: Domestic Gas Engineers required for servicing and breakdown work on domestic private properties. This large organization is interested in qualified, experienced gas engineers that can commit to a full working week Mon-Fri 8am-5pm as PAYE employed. There are also opportunities to earn extra through O/T and call out if requested, but average earnings are 50-80k with some exceeding 70k during normal hours. Ideal gas engineers will be based in or near one of the towns mentioned above.


Responsibilities:

  1. Reliable, hardworking, and driven to deliver the best service to clients.
  2. Effective communication and ability to contribute to and strengthen the team.
  3. Work independently and solve problems on your own initiative.
  4. Relevant and recent experience servicing various types of gas appliances.
  5. Carry out landlords gas safety records.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience.
  2. Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  3. Ability to pass a basic security check (completed at the job offer stage).
