Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting a Gas Engineer for a long-term contract in Cheltenham. You will manage the full gas and plumbing workstream on kitchen refurbishments across domestic properties, from initial visits to final gas testing, while maintaining high productivity.

Ideal candidates have a Blue CSCS Card, domestic gas qualifications, and prior social housing or kitchen refurbishment experience. The role offers weekly pay and ongoing contract work with strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Blue CSCS Card is required.
• Relevant domestic gas qualifications are required.
• Experience working in social housing is preferred.
• Experience on kitchen or bathroom refurbishment programmes is desirable.
• Must be able to complete works efficiently while maintaining standards.
• Flexibility to cover additional sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-start visits and initial gas works.
• Carry out first fixes including cooker point and hot/cold pipework alterations.
• Complete second-fix sink installations.
• Refit cookers and perform final gas testing.
• Manage the full kitchen workstream and complete required documentation.
• Work within occupied social housing properties.
