Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a Gas Engineer for a long-term contract to manage the full gas and plumbing workstream across kitchen refurbishments in Cheltenham and surrounding social housing projects. You will work independently on domestic properties, typically visiting sites, completing first fixes, sink installations, cooker refits, and final gas testing.

Qualifications

• Blue CSCS Card is required.
• Domestic gas qualifications are needed.
• Experience in social housing or kitchen refurbishment programmes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out full gas and plumbing workstreams across kitchen refurbishments.
• Conducting pre-start visits and initial gas works.
• Carrying out first fixes, cooker point alterations and hot/cold pipework changes.
• Completing second-fix sink installations and final gas testing.
• Managing documentation and client liaison within occupied properties.
