Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of our Gas Engineers will be to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that the heating and hot water systems operate efficiently and safely, and that repairs are completed promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering quality service. You will work across various environments and must be adaptable to different settings and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out service and maintenance works on domestic properties across the region.
  • Ensure high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants to meet quality standards.
  • Communicate updates and progress of work, completing required paperwork electronically and manually.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH Records.
  • Manage stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure relevant parts are available for job requirements.

Skills & Experience:

  • Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential).
  • Valid UK driving license (essential).
  • Previous practical experience in domestic gas maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Professional and friendly attitude with strong relationship-building skills with clients and tenants.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check prior to employment.
  • Availability for on-call work, including nights and weekends.
