Job summary

EQUANS are recruiting for Gas Engineers to be based in Coleshill, Birmingham to work on social housing across the East and West Midlands. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Gas Engineer will service, maintain and repair gas systems in residential and commercial properties, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety. UK driving license and Gas Safe registration are essential.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration is required.
• Experience with gas appliance installation, maintenance and repair.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics of gas appliances and heating systems.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure safety and performance.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used and time spent.
• Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
• Explain work required and maintenance advice to clients and tenants.
