Job summary

Urban Connect are recruiting experienced Gas Engineers for nationwide projects across the UK. Initial work across the North West with opportunities to move to nationwide schemes as the programme grows.

Roles involve supporting safe delivery of gas infrastructure works on major projects, with potential to secure a permanent role with a Tier One national contractor. Competitive pay and an excellent package accompany ongoing project continuity.

Qualifications

• Competent Person & SCO 1-5 qualifications required.
• Experience delivering gas infrastructure and utility projects.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out gas infrastructure installation, maintenance and modification works.
• Working on gas mains, services and associated infrastructure.
• Installation, alteration and replacement of gas pipework.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and project documentation.
• Carrying out gas testing and commissioning activities as required.
• Supporting gas network diversions and infrastructure upgrades.
• Carrying out gas emergency and repair works where required.
• Maintaining safe working areas and site records.
