Job summary

Start Monday Ltd is recruiting a qualified Gas Engineer to service and fault-find on commercial laundry equipment across client sites in the UK. The role is based from home with travel to customer premises, including care homes, universities and other facilities.

You will work on commercial gas appliances and laundry gear, with training provided for ACS-certified candidates. Typical earnings range from £39,000–£40,000 base, plus standby, bonus and overtime, with a company van and 33 days

Qualifications

• Gas ACS qualification is required.
• Field Service Engineer experience is required.
• Ideally some electrical knowledge and Multi Meter experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, breakdown and fault-finding on a wide range of commercial laundry equipment at client sites.
• Work from home base and travel to customer premises across the UK.
• Receive manufacturer/product training for gas-related equipment.

• Can use a multi meter, or have White Goods Engineer, Domestic Appliance experience?

A national player in the Commercial Laundry Equipment market, are seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join their team.

Working on Commercial Laundry Equipment. you will undertake service, breakdown & fault-finding on a wide range of commercial gas appliances & commercial laundry equipment.

Commercial Laundry equipment training provided to those who possess ACS Gas certification.

Areas include: Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Stevenage, Luton, Milton Keynes, York, Manchester

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Gas ACS qualified
• Field Service Engineer experience
• Ideally with some electrical knowledge and Multi Meter experience
• Full UK Driving Licence

Advantageous:

• Experience working on commercial laundry brands such as Miele, Electrolux, Girbau, JLA
• Experience working on domestic appliances such as Beko, Whirlpool, Haier, Bosch, Fisher Paykel, Hotpoint, Smeg, etc.

THE ROLE

Based from home, you will undertake service, breakdown & fault-finding on a wide range of Commercial Laundry equipment within their clients premises including care homes, universities, student accomadation, etc.

Relevant and on-going manufacturer/product training will be provided to candidates with Gas experience.

HOURS & REMUNERATION

Earnings of £45-50K+ based on:

• Basic Salary: £39,000 to £40,000 negotiable
• Standby: £900pa
• Bonus: £2000pa (paid £500 a quarter)
• Overtime Payments - Paid at x1.5 Mon - Sat and x2 for Sundays
• Paid travel
• Company Van with private use
• 33 days holiday - 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

• Monday to Friday - 42.5 hours per week
