Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is recruiting a Gas Engineer for a long-established Birmingham manufacturer. The role is field-based, servicing industrial gas-fired equipment, with a total package of £60,000–£65,000 and a supportive engineering team.

You will enjoy a structured workload, full training on specialist equipment, and an excellent work‑life balance with a 1pm Friday finish and paid travel time.

• Gas qualifications such as ACS, COCN1 or ICPN1 (current or lapsed) are welcome.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting a Gas Engineer for a long-established engineering manufacturer in Birmingham, offering a total package of £60,000 to £65,000. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role working with industrial gas‑fired equipment, supported by a friendly and down‑to‑earth engineering team.

This Gas Engineer position offers structured work, full training on specialist equipment and an excellent work‑life balance, including a 1pm Friday finish and paid travel time.

Package and benefits

About you

• Experience as a Gas Engineer in industrial gas or commercial gas settings
• Relevant gas qualifications such as ACS, COCN1, ICPN1 or similar are welcome, current or lapsed
• Full UK driving licence and UK passport required
• Comfortable working in industrial environments including heat, dust, confined spaces and working at height
• Strong communication skills and team-focused approach
