Gas Engineer - Certified

Location: London

Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Driving Licence: Required, with a maximum of 3 points

Start Date: Immediate or short notice period

The Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Gas Engineer to join their service department. The role involves managing a growing portfolio of properties for lettings, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Gas installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  2. Provide expert advice and recommendations to Property and Tenancy Managers.
  3. Conduct Installation Completion Reports to ensure compliance.
  4. Inspect and test in HMO properties to ensure compliance with government and council requirements. Knowledge of HMO gas compliance is desirable but not essential.
  5. Maintain accurate records of work completed through detailed job reports.
  6. Collaborate with Tenancy and Property Managers.
  7. Occasional Saturday work may be required for urgent projects.
Skills and Qualifications
  • CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET certifications.
  • Previous experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer.
  • Full UK Driving License, with no more than 3 points.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to work in compliance with them.
