Job summary

Metropolitan Plumbing Ltd is seeking a Gas Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in the London Area. You will install, service, and repair gas appliances and central heating systems in residential and commercial properties, diagnosing faults and performing routine and emergency maintenance.

You will respond to call-outs, document job reports, and communicate clearly with clients while coordinating with the wider team.

Qualifications

• Strong practical skills and experience in LPG and gas safety with relevant gas industry certifications.
• Proficiency in central heating systems, including installation, fault finding, servicing, and repair.
• Solid plumbing skills covering installation, maintenance, and repair of domestic and light commercial systems.
• Experience in building maintenance and maintenance & repair tasks in occupied or void properties.
• Current Gas Safe registration or eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair gas appliances and central heating systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Diagnose faults and carry out routine and emergency maintenance.
• Respond to call outs and complete accurate job reports.
• Communicate clearly with clients and coordinate with the wider team and contractors.
• Support general plumbing and heating work and maintain tools, equipment and vehicle.
