Sterling Plumbers LTD in Haywards Heath is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team. You will perform gas installations, inspections, maintenance and repairs, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance with gas regulations.

This role requires Gas Safe registration, a full clean driving license, and excellent customer service. You will work both independently and with colleagues to deliver high-quality plumbing and gas solutions for our clients, plus ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Valid Gas Safe registration and relevant certifications.
• Experience in gas installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections, installations, maintenance and repairs of gas systems and appliances per safety standards and regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot gas-related issues efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with industry guidelines and safety protocols during all gas-related work.
• Collaborate with team members and departments to deliver exceptional service.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on gas-related matters, including energy-saving practices.
• Complete all necessary documentation and reports in a timely and organized manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements to enhance knowledge and skills.
