ATTB - The Big Jobsite invites applications for a Gas Engineer Apprentice position at their York depot. This 4-year apprenticeship will see candidates achieve qualifications in gas network operation and craftsperson skills, paving the way for future roles in gas management. Responsibilities include emergency response and routine maintenance of the gas network, requiring adaptability and technical ability.
Gas Engineer Apprentice
Starting salary £22,056 with increases in line with successful completion of modules.
Course Duration - 4 years.
Located in our York depot with a start date of 1st September.
During training, travel will be required to the Training Centre (with accommodation provided) in York.
We now have two exciting opportunities to join us as a Gas Engineer Apprentice at our York depot.
In years one and two, you will undertake your Gas Network Operative Level 2 (GNO) qualification. Following successful completion, in years three and four, you will progress to achieve Gas Network Craftsperson Level 3.
At the end of your apprenticeship, you will be qualified as a Team Leader working across our gas network. The specific opportunities may vary depending on business needs in four years. Further development opportunities may also be available for high performers.
