The Role

We are seeking experienced Gas Engineers to perform domestic gas metering and maintenance as part of EDF’s national smart meter rollout. This customer-facing role requires a motivated, reliable, and skilled professional who takes pride in their workmanship.

What’s on Offer

• £38,000 (outside the M25)
• £39,000 (inside the M25)
• £500 attendance bonus paid semi-annually
• Productivity bonus: £15 per meter after 30 meters per week
• Optional Saturday work paid at £200 per day
• No on-call duties, supporting a healthy work-life balance

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing and maintaining domestic gas meters in residential properties
• Ensuring all work complies with safety, industry standards, and quality requirements
• Working independently with digital tools, mobile support, and scheduling systems

What You Need

• CCN1 and MET1 (or equivalent Gas Safe qualifications)
• Experience in domestic gas engineering or smart metering installation
• Full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
