Job summary

Red Rock Consultants Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our engineering services team, delivering maintenance, servicing and repair solutions to clients across the UK.

The role requires travel nationwide, a strong fault-finding capability, and qualifications in commercial gas. You will work on commercial heating systems, complete documentation, and ensure compliance with gas safety regulations. We offer a competitive salary and an on-call rota with standby pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working as Commercial Gas Engineer (training available for domestic experience)
• Relevant commercial gas qualifications and current industry certifications
• Strong understanding of commercial heating systems and gas safety procedures
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial gas appliances and heating systems
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
• Undertake servicing, inspections and safety checks in line with current legislation and industry standards
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements and relevant gas regulations
• Complete job sheets, service reports and other required documentation accurately
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service when attending client sites
• Travel UK-wide to carry out scheduled works and respond to service requirements
• Identify opportunities to recommend remedial works and improvements where necessary
