Job summary

British Gas is hiring Gas Engineers to join our team of experienced specialists in Farnham. You will represent British Gas in customers’ homes, diagnose faults, and carry out gas boiler repairs to keep homes warm and safe. Base salary is £47,303 with uncapped OTE of about £54,400.

A £10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Candidates should have ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1) and at least 3 years’ fault‑finding experience on boilers and heating systems.

Qualifications

• Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1).
• 3 years qualified experience of fault finding and diagnosis.
• Electrical knowledge including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan, and combination systems and boilers.

Responsibilities

• Represent British Gas in customers' homes, with support from managers, mentors, and colleagues.
• Perform gas boiler repairs and diagnose faults on heating systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a focus on first-visit resolutions.

Represent British Gas in customers' homes, with support from managers, mentors, and colleagues. Experience with various boilers and heating systems is essential. This role is based in Farnham.
