Job description

MMP Consultancy are currently recruiting for an experienced domestic Gas Engineer to join a housing association based working around Brighton and Crawley. The perm salary is £43,884 per annum with a company van and fuel card supplied.

Working hours - Monday to Friday. 39 hours per week - 8:30am - 17:00 Mon - Thurs and 8:30am - 16:00pm on Friday.

As a Gas Engineer you will be working within Property Services to provide a responsive and professional gas installations service to ensuring all work sites are adequately protected and maintained.

Responsibilities

1. Service and repair of domestic gas appliances (i.e. gas boilers, fires)
2. Perform routine maintenance checks
3. Maintain and monitor the supply, stock and use of materials
4. Participate in the 'out of hours' service delivery on a rota basis (Currently every 1 in 6 weeks)
5. Act as a liaison between internal teams to ensure any property-related issues are highlighted and resolved promptly
6. Raise any non-compliance or process failures with managers.

Essential qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT,

Desirable but not essential: HTR1, CONGLP1PD, Unvented Hot Water Systems
