Gas Engineer

Example Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for Domestic Gas Service & Repair Engineers on behalf of a National Heating contractor operating within the private sector.

We have an amazing opportunity for Domestic Gas Engineers to work on a contract basis without an end date covering your geographical areas specialising in Domestic Gas Service and Repair work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. You will be allocated a patch within your postcode area
2. All jobs are pre-planned with the best route locator as close to your postcode region as possible
3. Job paid PER APPLIANCE
4. Saturday and Sunday work available paid at an increased rate
5. Either part time or full time and you can do up to 8 - 12 jobs per day
6. Work available all year round right through the Spring/Summer to next Autumn/Winter
7. CONTRACT WITHOUT AN END DATE!!

Contract Requirements:

1. Must have experience of working on back boiler units, fires and be strong at breakdown, fault finding, diagnostics and repair of domestic boilers and heating systems
2. ACS qualifications including: CCN1, CKR1, HTR1 and CENWAT or CEN1 and WAT1
3. Gas Safe Registration (in your own name)
4. Flue Gas Analyser & Calibration certificate (within 1 year)
5. Public Liability Insurance - £2,000,000 cover
6. Own Van & Full UK Driving Licence
7. Clean DBS

Additional Information:

1. Rates: circa £350 - £450 per day
2. Materials: Van stock provided with all parts supplied
3. Contract Length: Ongoing 5 years +
4. Payment terms: Weekly pay
5. Contract Type: Part-time or Full-time work on an ongoing basis
6. Work Load: Full book of work guaranteed each day
