Job description

We are seeking a Project Manager (WwTW) to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team at Mogden Treatment Works, for our client Thames Water, the UK's third-largest treatment site located in Twickenham.

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available, just let us know.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will provide leadership and manage resources to successfully deliver a section of the Mogden STW Project. The works involve resilience upgrades of Mechanical, Electrical, Utilities, and Civils, focusing on the gas/digester area for AMP7.

  • Ensure safety and commercial performance, maintaining or improving the contract programme.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for a specific section of works.
  • Support the team and collaborate with the wider leadership team for effective coordination.
  • Manage the project budget in conjunction with the Commercial team.
  • Oversee all on-site teams, including Site Supervisors, Operational Teams, and Sub-contractors.
What are we looking for?

This role is ideal if you have:

  • Experience managing complex multi-million Mechanical & Electrical schemes.
  • Understanding of working in potentially hazardous atmospheres.
  • Knowledge of construction involving live plant/processes and mitigation strategies.
  • HNC or higher in a relevant engineering or project management field.
  • Experience with biomethane and digesters is essential.
