Summary of Job Role:
This entry level position will support the busy broking desks in the Gas Department. You will work alongside a successful team of Operators and Brokers who are driven to provide an exceptional and efficient service to clients, and the Gibson’s team.
This role will begin as a Trainee Operator, with the potential future opportunity to become a Ship Broker. Initially, this role will manage vessel voyage performance and ship routing, oversee every element of a ship’s operations chain including charterers’ liabilities, supervision of planning of cargo intakes, maintaining customer contact and building strong relationships, assisting, and supporting Shipbrokers, verification of freight amongst other claims and responding to any problems promptly.
