Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Gas Design Manager in Worsley to lead design activities from site surveys to production of detailed drawings, ensuring CDM 2015 compliance and collaboration with engineers and project teams. The role involves reviewing designs, coordinating with internal and client teams, producing weekly design reports, and visiting sites across the UK for tender events and design reviews.

Salary £50,000 - £65,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications desirable; good experience considered.
• Experience with intermediate/high-pressure gas mains.
• Understanding of relevant engineering specifications for gas industry (IGEM).
• Knowledge and awareness of CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Monitor industry practices and identify design trends.
• Develop high-quality concepts and iterate designs with stakeholders.
• Lead design phases from project setup through to CDM documentation.
• Review STAT plans and provide design support to the team.
• Collaborate with internal and external design teams and clients.
• Produce weekly design reports and present to Design Manager.
• Conduct regular site visits for surveys and as-laid drawings.
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 throughout the design process.
