Qualifications

Job description

PPM Recruitment are currently on the lookout for Gas Breakdown Engineers for one of our clients in Wigan.


Basic: GBP31,512 Plus on target earnings of over GBP45K, Company Van, Fuel Card & Excellent Benefits.


Duties include:
  1. Undertake the servicing, repairing and maintenance of Domestic heating systems.
  2. Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations.
  3. Completion of all relevant paperwork.
  4. Ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
  5. Participate in out of hour's works, including overtime, call out etc.
  6. Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures.
  7. Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards.
  8. Undertake all other maintenance works within remit.
  9. Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers.

Successful candidates will have the following:
  1. Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/ or equivalent.
  2. ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
  3. LPG, UNVENTED qualifications are desirable.
  4. Understanding of gas legislation.
  5. Full driving license.
  6. Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice.
  7. Ability to manage own time and workload.
  8. Experience of working with the public, demonstrating excellent customer service.
  9. Flexibility.

This is a permanent role.
