Job summary

Vibe Recruit is seeking a Gas and Fire Suppression Engineer to join a Midlands-based service company on the outskirts of Manchester. You will install, service and commission FM200, Novec 1230, and inert gas systems while ensuring compliance and safety.

This role offers a base salary up to £40,000 plus a company vehicle, pension and private healthcare, with substantial overtime earning potential in a wide UK coverage across Midlands and the South.

Qualifications

• Experience with gas-based fire suppression systems installation, service and commissioning.
• Experience working in data rooms, comms rooms or mission-critical environments.
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and commission FM200, Novec 1230, and inert gas fire suppression systems.
• Perform cylinder installations, pressure checks and system upgrades.
• Conduct room integrity tests and ensure compliance with standards.
• Work in data rooms, comms rooms and other mission-critical environments.
• Understand fire detection interfaces, control panels and system integration.
• Service, maintain and commission fire suppression systems to British Standards.

Are you an experienced Gas and Fire Suppression Engineer? Are you looking for great variation and excellent overtime earning potential?

We are currently recruiting for a Gas and Fire Suppression Engineer to join an industry leading, dedicated design, installation and maintenance service company on the outskirts of Manchester.

• Install, service, and commission FM200, Novec 1230, and inert gas fire suppression systems
• Performing cylinder installations, pressure checks, and system upgrades
• Conduct room integrity tests and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
• Work in data rooms, comms rooms, and other mission-critical environments
• Understand fire detection interfaces, control panels, and system integration.
• Work on a variety of advanced technologies, including FM200, Novec 1230, CO2, Inert Gas, Watermist, Aerosol (FirePro), and Kitchen Suppression Systems (Kitchenguard, Amerex, Ansul).
• Service, maintain, and commission fire suppression systems to British Standards
