Job summary

Vibe Recruit Limited is seeking an experienced Gas and Fire Suppression Engineer to join a dedicated design, installation and maintenance service company near Manchester.

You will install, service and commission FM200, Novec 1230, and inert gas systems in data rooms and other critical environments, ensuring compliance with British Standards and delivering reliable life-safety solutions across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as Gas and Fire Suppression Engineer.
• Install, service and commission fire suppression systems.
• Maintain compliance with UK BS standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and commission FM200, Novec 1230, and inert gas fire suppression systems.
• Perform cylinder installations, pressure checks, and system upgrades.
• Conduct room integrity tests and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Work in data rooms, comms rooms, and other mission-critical environments.
• Understand fire detection interfaces, control panels, and system integration.
• Work on advanced technologies including FM200, Novec 1230, CO2, Inert Gas, Watermist, Aerosol (FirePro), and Kitchen Suppression Systems.
• Service, maintain, and commission fire suppression systems to British Standards.

Are you an experienced Gas and Fire Suppression Engineer? Are you looking for great variation and excellent overtime earning potential?

We are currently recruiting for a Gas and Fire Suppression Engineer to join an industry leading, dedicated design, installation and maintenance service company on the outskirts of Manchester.

As a Gas and Fire Suppression Engineer you will:

• Install, service, and commission FM200, Novec 1230, and inert gas fire suppression systems
• Performing cylinder installations, pressure checks, and system upgrades
• Conduct room integrity tests and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
• Work in data rooms, comms rooms, and other mission-critical environments
• Understand fire detection interfaces, control panels, and system integration.
• Work on a variety of advanced technologies, including FM200, Novec 1230, CO2, Inert Gas, Watermist, Aerosol (FirePro), and Kitchen Suppression Systems (Kitchenguard, Amerex, Ansul).
• Service, maintain, and commission fire suppression systems to British Standards
