Join a successful and well-established supplier to the UK high street as a Men's Garment Technologist, specialising in Tailoring and Outerwear. Main responsibilities will include:

1. Responsible for taking the product from development through all stages to product delivery.
2. Maintain fit consistency by monitoring and maintaining Grade rules.
3. Manage and run fit sessions.
4. Ensure designs are engineered within cost structure and make-up capabilities.
5. Develop design packs and manage critical paths, ensuring correct block reference sizes and technical data are completed on time.
6. Identify new developments requiring technical support.
7. Perform risk assessments to identify high-risk products for production.
8. Ensure all seals, processes, and tests are completed at each stage according to the critical path schedule.
9. Identify products for wearer trials and address potential issues on key lines.
10. Liaise with overseas factories in China and Bangladesh, including at least two trips to China.
11. Attend meetings with buyers as required.

Person Specification:

1. Experience and knowledge of garment construction in Menswear or Outerwear and Tailoring.
2. Proven track record in a similar technologist role within a retailer or supplier.
3. Experience with Far East and Bangladesh production is beneficial.
4. Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
5. Flexible, proactive, and able to show initiative.
6. Attention to detail and effective deadline management.
