Job summary

Bowmay Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Garment Technologist to join a newly created division. You will work across product development, garment specifications, sampling, fit, technical approval and supplier relationships to drive development from concept to manufacture.

The role involves close collaboration with Design, Production, Quality, Certification and overseas factories. You will support continuous improvement in specification accuracy and contribute to project critical paths.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience with design tools and product development processes.
• Ability to work to critical paths and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue technical packs for new and resourcing styles.
• Manage garment specifications, including diagrams, BOMs, size charts and artwork.
• Organise and attend fit sessions.
• Support sample development and approval.
• Review samples through to bulk production.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve technical and fit issues.
• Manage project critical paths and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate product development records.
• Support certification and compliance.
