About the role

Are you a passionate gardener looking to join a dynamic team of landscape professionals? MJ Landscapes and Maintenance, a leading provider of landscaping and maintenance services in Southport, QLD, is seeking a Gardener & Mowing Operator to join our growing team. This is a casual role providing fulltime hours.

What you'll be doing

Performing general gardening duties including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding and planting

Operating lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently

Providing exceptional customer service by maintaining well-presented and tidy outdoor spaces

Participating in team-based projects and collaborating with other landscaping professionals

Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Experience 1-2 years - Not required

Demonstrated experience in gardening, landscaping or a related field - Has experience using ride-on mower, push mower, whipper snipper, hedging, brush cutting.

Familiarity with operating and maintaining lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment

Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics

Excellent time management and organizational skills

A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team

A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation to get to work
