Horticulturist/ Gardener

Monday to Friday 5am-1:30pm (flexibility will be needed)

Uk driving license highly desirable.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Horticulturist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for plants and landscapes, along with the skills necessary to maintain and enhance our gardens and green spaces. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure the health and beauty of our horticultural environments.

Duties

• Conduct regular landscape maintenance, ensuring that all plants, flowers, and trees are healthy and thriving.
• Plan and implement irrigation systems to provide optimal water supply for various plant species.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and mulching to maintain a tidy appearance.
• Cultivate gardens by selecting appropriate plants based on soil conditions, climate, and aesthetic goals.
• Engage in growing activities such as planting seeds, propagating plants, and monitoring growth progress.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various horticultural tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other team members to design and execute landscaping projects that enhance the overall environment.
• Monitor pest control measures and apply organic or chemical treatments as necessary to protect plant health.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred.
