ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL in Campbeltown is seeking an enthusiastic Handyperson/Gardener for Greenwood/Woodland environments. You will support adults with disabilities through gardening, maintenance, and decorating tasks, working under supervision to ensure safety and quality.

Role involves safe operation of machinery, occasional travel to Lochgilphead, and a proactive approach to completing tasks with attention to detail. Flexible and transferable skills are valued.

Competenze

• Experience in gardening, basic maintenance, painting and decorating.
• Ability to safely operate relevant machinery.
• A trade or manufacturing background may be an advantage; attention to detail is essential.

Mansioni

• Perform gardening and basic maintenance tasks as directed.
• Carry out painting and decorating and other odd jobs as required by Seniors.
• Operate relevant machinery safely and in accordance with guidelines.
• Travel twice monthly to LOCHSIDE in Lochgilphead during summer months and as agreed for other tasks.
• Maintain high standards in completing tasks and required actions.
