Job description

We’re looking for someone with green fingers and an interest in gardening to help us maintain our gardens and outdoor space at our busy site. This role does not involve working directly with the pets in our care, but you will be making a huge contribution by supporting the team and helping to keep the site looking tidy and well-presented.

We’re so busy looking after the pets in our care that we don’t always have enough time to spend on our gardens and grounds. Keeping the site looking pleasant and well-presented helps us create a great environment for our team and our visitors, ultimately helping us to help more pets.

We would love you to join us and help us help more pets in need.

What you will be doing
  • Weeding and tidying
  • Planting
  • Pruning and caring for plants
  • Seasonal tasks such as collecting leaves
  • General maintenance (if appropriate)
  • At some of our sites, you might also be growing vegetables or ragworting
The skills you need
  • Reliable and able to make a regular commitment
  • Comfortable working alone, as well as in a team
  • Some gardening knowledge and skills preferred
