Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is seeking a reliable Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative for temporary work across various locations. Immediate start available with a contract running until 31st October, paying £14.13 per hour.

Duties include general garden maintenance, grass cutting, strimming, weeding and tidying outdoor areas, and preparing gardens at temporary or vacant properties for re-let.

Qualifications

• Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Physically able to carry out outdoor manual work.
• Reliable and capable of working independently.

Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative

Pay: £14.13 per hour

Contract: Temporary - Immediate start until 31st October

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team on a temporary basis.

Duties will include:

• General garden maintenance
• Grass cutting and mowing
• Strimming
• Weeding and tidying outdoor areas
• Maintaining gardens at temporary and vacant properties before they are re-let
• Visiting properties during the summer months to help ensure gardens are kept tidy and presentable

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience
• Be comfortable working independently
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be reliable and physically able to carry out outdoor manual work
• A work van may be available. Alternatively, if using your own vehicle, mileage can be claimed.
