Job description

My client is an established garden plant nursery located on the outskirts of Retford. They are seeking a Production Assistant on a temp to perm basis, with an immediate start.

This is a full-time role.

To be considered, you should have an interest in and some knowledge of garden plants and gardening. Horticultural qualifications would be advantageous.

Much of the work will be outdoors, so you must be prepared to work in all weather conditions. PPE will be provided for adverse weather.

The responsibilities include:

• Dispatch
• Repotting
• Pruning
• Weeding
• Feeding plants
• Moving plants around the nursery
• Helping load lorries

This role offers a great opportunity to progress and gain more knowledge in horticulture. The company will support you in obtaining further qualifications as you advance.

Once permanent, there is potential to increase pay to £14.25 per hour.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
