Job description

Garden Maintenance Team Leader

Our high-end London-based client is seeking a motivated Team Leader with gardening and maintenance experience to join the existing teams. A driving licence is essential for this role, as is proven experience in supervising a small team. Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will be expected to liaise with clients. Candidates need RHS level 2 horticulture or NVQ level 3 or equivalent or be close to qualifying.

You will need a good knowledge of horticultural equipment and machinery, and to ensure this is looked after and maintained, as well as an understanding of current health and safety requirements.

A PA1&6 spraying licence is desirable but not essential.

The work is physical and may require heavy lifting. You will need to be flexible in nature and happy to turn your hand to whatever is required on the day. A love for plants and gardening is essential, as are good verbal and written communication skills and excellent English. You must be able to work in a team and use your initiative, have good attention to detail, and maintain high standards.
