Henton and Chattell is the East Midlands leading ground care machinery dealership, known for providing quality service and customer care. Established as a family business in 1931, H&C has over 85 team members across parts, service, sales, and support. We work with leading manufacturers like Kubota, Baroness, Yamaha, EGO Power+, and Stihl, serving the ground care, agriculture, and homeowner sectors. About the role

H&C is seeking motivated technicians who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Experience in ground care machinery diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Training will be provided with key manufacturers to enhance your skills and knowledge in this important role.

Your Duties will include:
  1. Repairing, reworking, and checking returned machinery
  2. Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
  3. Service and repairs to all makes and models of grass cutting machinery and equipment
  4. Determining repair methods and identifying and fitting replacement parts
  5. Using computerized systems to identify parts and service information
  6. General housekeeping in the working area
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining mechanical machinery, including small engines
  • Ability to work independently and on initiative
  • Competent in using computerized systems
  • Ability to diagnose problems and find solutions

Hours of Work

Monday - Friday, with overtime depending on workload. Holidays: 22 days plus bank holidays.
