Job summary

MorePeople is working with a major garden centre group to recruit a Garden Centre Manager for a Worcestershire site. The role carries responsibility for the commercial, operational and people performance of the centre within a well-established team.

You will drive sales and KPIs, lead a capable team, maintain high standards across horticulture, retail and merchandising, and work closely with the on-site restaurant to deliver a cohesive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a garden centre or large horticultural operation.
• Strong commercial focus with KPIs, margins and sales targets.
• Proven people management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial, operational and people performance of the centre.
• Drive sales, KPIs and overall commercial performance.
• Lead and develop an established team, including managers.
• Maintain high retail, horticultural and merchandising standards.
• Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure a consistent customer experience.
• Plan seasonal ranges and manage costs, stock and centre performance.
